Libertini Design Studio is situated in rural Aberdeenshire, overlooking the beautiful Moray Firth. It is home to two full-time designers, who are not only work colleagues, but best friends of over thirty years. We have always had creative interests and took the decision in 2006 to launch Libertini Design Studio. Over the last ten years we have built a strong online presence and a reputation for affordable quality, attention to detail, punctuality and excellent customer service. Our customers often ask: why Libertini - what does it mean? Literally, it means 'free people' and to us, it means the freedom to be creative and to follow our dreams. We both grew up in small, tight knit communities and pursued careers working closely with people and communities. These experiences inspired us to create a range of card gift sets which celebrate relationships, close bonds, life milestones, values and beliefs. We also create items of jewellery, artwork, gifts for the home and the garden. Many of these are bespoke and commissioned, but we do occasionally have pieces available for sale. We love to explore the relationship between people and landscape in our work and to incorporate natural materials such as driftwood, stone, dried plants and seaweeds in our designs. As graduates in Scottish and Irish Studies, we have a passion for language, literature, history and culture. These also feature heavily in our work and shape our design choices. Finally of course, we must mention our beautiful location! We are fortunate to work in a garden studio which overlooks the sea and is surrounded by rolling acres of farmland. On special nights we are lucky enough to see the magical display of the aurora borealis or northern lights and as we sit in quite an exposed situation, we are right at the centre of the elements throughout all four seasons! So let us share this with you and deliver just a little bit of the magic.
